Jefferson Township is proud to offer a scholarship program designed to help local students take the next step in their education. This year, three scholarships of $500 each will be awarded to eligible residents pursuing higher education.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must be residents of Jefferson Township, Fayette County, Ohio. There are no complex forms. The entire application is submitted by email.
What to Include in Your Application
Send an email to ryenger@jeffersontwpfayette.org with the following:
- Your name and contact information
- Your intended college major or field of study
- A brief explanation of how you plan to use the scholarship funds (tuition, books, supplies, etc.)
How Applications Are Reviewed
Submissions are evaluated on how clearly and thoughtfully applicants describe their educational goals and intended use of funds. Preference may be given to students who demonstrate a clear academic direction and financial need.
Deadline: May 15, 2026
All applications must be submitted by May 15, 2026. Don’t wait! Put your email together and get it in before the deadline.
Award Presentation
Recipients may be invited to a township meeting or community event to receive their award publicly.
